VeryDarkMan Kneels in Emotional Video, Urges Nigerians to Reject APC and Tinubu in 2027
Popular social media activist and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has stirred massive reactions online after releasing an emotional video urging Nigerians not to support the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
In the viral three-minute clip shared on Thursday, the outspoken commentator was seen kneeling while passionately addressing Nigerians about the country’s current challenges. VeryDarkMan used the moment to deny allegations that he secretly works for the APC, insisting that he has carefully observed the government and concluded that the ruling party does not have the best interests of Nigerians at heart.
According to him, citizens must resist political manipulation and avoid selling their votes during future elections. He specifically warned Nigerians against accepting inducements such as ₦5,000, food items, or bags of rice in exchange for their votes.
The activist stressed that the country is facing serious economic and security difficulties, including rising inflation, fuel scarcity, kidnappings, and terrorist attacks linked to Boko Haram and banditry. He argued that these issues should encourage voters to make informed decisions ahead of the 2027 elections.
VeryDarkMan further appealed to young Nigerians to remain politically conscious and use their votes wisely rather than being influenced by temporary gifts from politicians.
His video has since generated widespread debate across social media platforms. While many Nigerians praised him for speaking boldly about governance and national hardship, others questioned whether the video carried elements of sarcasm or political bias.
