Former Abia State Commissioner for Environment and former Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Barrister Stanley Ikechi Ojigbo, has passed away.
The news of his death has sparked an outpouring of grief and tributes from political associates, community leaders, friends, and residents across Abia State, particularly in Ikwuano Local Government Area, where he played a significant role in grassroots development and public administration.
Ojigbo was widely known for his contributions to governance and community service during his years in public office. As Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, he was recognized for initiatives aimed at improving local administration and enhancing the welfare of residents. He later served as Commissioner for Environment in Abia State, where he contributed to policies and programmes focused on environmental management and sustainable development.
