According to the report from SYMFONI TV, The political scene in the South-South region of Nigeria has become increasingly heated as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, has launched a strong critique against Governor Nyesom Wike in the ongoing internal party tensions.
Speaking to party members, the PDP Chairman emphasized the need for unity and resilience, urging leaders within the party to stand firm and not be swayed by external pressures. “I want to use this opportunity to caution our leaders,” he stated, “don’t fear them, don’t give in to any form of intimidation. No one can change your destiny except you.”
He continued by rallying party members to stay resolute. “Please, I want to guide you. Let us remain strong and proactive. Don’t fear anyone. Every Nigerian belongs to all of us, and no one is a better Nigerian than you are,” he said, emphasizing the importance of self-determination and unity within the party.
