The excitement is building among young people in Ohuhu as the Ohuhu Youths Welfare Union continues its engaging activities with a competitive day of games featuring draughts, snooker and table tennis.
A major attraction of today’s programme is the highly anticipated draughts competition, where players representing different blocs will battle for supremacy and the honour of being crowned champion.
All blocs have been urged to come fully prepared with their players and, importantly, their own draughts boards. Organisers have stressed that each bloc is responsible for providing a board to avoid delays once the competition gets underway.
Beyond the players, supporters are also expected to play an important role in creating an energetic and memorable atmosphere. Every bloc has been encouraged to mobilise its fans to cheer their representatives and add colour and excitement to the games.
The competitions are expected to promote healthy rivalry, unity, youth participation and community engagement while providing young people in Ohuhu with an opportunity to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.
With players ready and supporters set to turn out in numbers, attention is now firmly on the competition as Ohuhu youths prepare for an exciting contest to determine who will emerge as the draughts champion.
