Lawmaker Dies in Abuja

A member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Hassan, who represented the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in Kano State, has passed away following a prolonged illness.


According to reports, the lawmaker died on Friday night at a hospital in Abuja after battling health challenges for more than a year. His death marks a significant loss to his constituency and colleagues within the National Assembly.


Family members and associates have announced that his funeral prayer (janaza) will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Abuja, where relatives, political associates, and well-wishers are expected to gather to pay their final respects.


During his lifetime, Hassan was known for his contributions to legislative activities and his representation of the interests of his constituents in Kano State. His passing leaves a void in the political landscape of the region.
