The Abia State Government has called on eligible youths across the state to take advantage of the ongoing Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recruitment exercise for Trades and Non-Tradesmen/Women under the Basic Military Training Course 47/2026.
The state government made the announcement in a public service notice signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, on September 28, 2026.
According to the announcement, the Nigerian Air Force recruitment portal officially opened on September 3, 2026, to enable qualified applicants to complete their applications online.
The registration exercise is scheduled to remain open until October 14, 2026. Interested applicants are therefore encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
The Abia State Government advised prospective applicants to carefully review the eligibility requirements, application guidelines and other relevant information provided on the official Nigerian Air Force recruitment portal before submitting their forms.
The government also emphasized that the application process is completely free of charge.
Applicants were specifically warned to be cautious of fraudsters and individuals or groups seeking to collect money in connection with the recruitment exercise. The public is advised to rely only on official information and the designated recruitment portal for the application process.
The Abia State Government further encouraged qualified and interested youths in the state to make use of the opportunity and complete their applications within the stipulated period.
The government wished all Abia applicants success in the recruitment exercise.
