Labour Party Ohuhu Congratulates Kelechi Nwaiwu, Aham Uko on Otti’s 2027 Campaign Council Appointments

The Labour Party family in Ohuhu has congratulated Mr. Kelechi Nwaiwu, SAN and Dr. Aham Uko PhD following their appointments to key positions in the campaign structure of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Nwaiwu, who hails from Afugiri Ward in Ohuhu, was appointed Director of Legal, while Dr. Aham Uko from Nkwoegwu Ward was appointed Coordinator for the Umuahia North State Constituency.

The appointments are part of the broader political structure approved by Governor Alex Otti to coordinate the Labour Party’s governorship campaign activities as the state prepares for the 2027 election.

The development has attracted commendations from members and supporters of the Labour Party in Ohuhu, who described the appointments as recognition of the competence, commitment and grassroots contributions of the two appointees.

Speaking on the development, Mr. Nkwachukwu Ogwuegbu congratulated Nwaiwu and Uko, describing their appointments as a positive development for Ohuhu and the wider Umuahia North political community.

He noted that the inclusion of individuals from different wards in strategic positions would help strengthen grassroots mobilisation and coordination ahead of the 2027 electoral season.

Ogwuegbu urged the appointees to approach their responsibilities with dedication, fairness and a strong sense of service, while encouraging them to work with other members of the campaign council to achieve the objectives of the Labour Party.

He further expressed optimism that the appointments would provide an opportunity for Ohuhu to contribute meaningfully to the campaign structure and the broader political process leading to the 2027 governorship election.
