A new political chapter has opened in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State as Hon. Nkem Uba has been elected the new House Leader of the legislative council, representing Oboro Ward II.

His emergence has been widely described as a return of power to the people, as grassroots voices are expected to play a stronger role in shaping the future of Ikwuano.
