NFSAN elects MOUAU’s Chinwike Deborah as National Protocol Director, marking a new era of female student leadership and empowerment in Nigeria.

The National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN) has elected Miss Chinwike Deborah C., a 300-level student of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), as its new National Director of Protocol. The announcement came during the association’s elective convention held in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.

Before achieving this milestone, Deborah served as the Special Assistant on Gender Affairs to Rotr. Chijioke Emmanuel, the 29th Students’ Union Government (SUG) President of MOUAU. Her tenure showcased her passion for advocacy, orderliness, and female empowerment, which earned her recognition as a rising voice among young leaders.

Her victory has sparked widespread excitement across MOUAU and beyond, with admirers describing her as both a political dark horse and a source of inspiration for female students aspiring to leadership roles.

In her appreciation message, Deborah expressed gratitude to members of NFSAN for their trust and confidence. She pledged to strengthen protocol systems, promote unity, and elevate the association’s national profile in line with its motto, “Pride of Womanhood.” She also revealed plans to introduce programs aimed at empowering the girl child and ensuring greater female participation in leadership.

Deborah’s election is not just a personal achievement but also a celebration of the growing influence of young women in leadership. Her victory underscores the transformative role female students continue to play in shaping Nigeria’s future.
