NiMet forecasts nationwide thunderstorms and rainfall from Monday to Wednesday, urging Nigerians to prepare for possible flooding and disruptions.
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has issued a fresh weather alert predicting widespread thunderstorms and rainfall across several parts of Nigeria between Monday and Wednesday.
According to NiMet, the upcoming days will see increased cloud activity, heavy rainfall, and isolated thunderstorms in many regions, particularly in the northern and central states. Coastal areas and parts of the South are also expected to experience moderate to heavy showers.
