RIP: Photos Of The KCSE Candidate Allegedly Beaten To Death By Her Father For Scoring D+

Photos of a young girl who was allegedly beaten to death by her father for scoring D+ in just released KCSE examination surfaced online leading to a sombre mood.

According to the source, the incident occured in Melon village, Chesikaki constituency Mt Elgon. Sources revealed that the deceased identified as Sarah was beaten to death by her father by the name Mourice Toto Makolo for scoring a D+. Bungoma women representative Catherine Wambilianga took to the media and mourned the death of Sarah. Wambilianga condemned the heinous action and urged the relevant authority to speed up investigation so that the culprit can be brought to book.

She also urged parents and guardians to be kind to their children. Sarah’s body is currently preserved at the hospital morgue pending an autopsy test to ascertain what really transpired. Burial preparations are also underway. KCSE results were released a few days ago and the Education CS Julius Ogamba revealed that 1693 candidates scored A while 840 had their results cancelled.
