The Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Mr. Folorunso Aluko, has revealed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is on track to expand its control from 24 to at least 30 states before the end of 2027.

Aluko made this statement during the PGF Quarterly Strategy Meeting of Information Commissioners from APC-led states, held on Thursday in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. He emphasized that the forum serves as the “nerve centre of coordination for Nigeria’s subnational communication system,” ensuring synergy and strategic alignment among APC-led governments.

According to him, the APC remains focused on strengthening its communication strategy, improving governance, and ensuring its policies have measurable impact across the country.

“We are strengthening our strategic posture and aligning every message with measurable impact. And as we look towards 2027, our conviction remains firm the APC will grow stronger,” Aluko stated.

He added that the party’s goal is not only to expand its political reach but also to deliver prosperity to Nigerians through effective governance.

“By the grace of God and the will of Nigerians, we are confident that the PGF will rise from today’s 24 states to at least 30 states before the end of 2027,” he affirmed.

Aluko described governance as a “relay, not an ordinary race,” urging APC governors to see themselves as part of a continuous effort toward nation-building. He encouraged unity, integrity, and renewed commitment to public service across all APC-led states.

“As we celebrate here in Maiduguri, let us reaffirm our shared resolve to align state action with federal vision, to speak with one voice, to act with integrity, and to serve with renewed hope,” he concluded.

The PGF, which brings together governors elected under the APC platform, continues to play a crucial role in coordinating governance strategies, communication, and policy implementation across APC-controlled states.
