Tension is building as the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has reportedly ordered the transfer of Nnamdi Kanu’s brother and legal counsel, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, along with 11 others, to the Kuje Magistrate Court.

Reports suggest the move is aimed at ensuring their remand in prison custody, a decision that has stirred outrage among supporters of the detained IPOB leader.

Human rights advocates have condemned the action as an attempt to intimidate those demanding justice for Kanu, who remains in prolonged detention.

The development has fueled renewed social media campaigns under the hashtag #FreeNnamdiKanuNow, as activists call for accountability and the immediate release of those affected.

Official reactions from the Nigeria Police Force and relevant authorities are still awaited as public concern continues to grow.
