Secondary school students 'beat teacher into coma in Kogi'

Some students of Ebira Muslim Community College Okengwe, (EMCCO) in Okene LGA, Kogi state, allegedly beat one of their teachers to a com@.

The male students said to be in SS2, allegedly humiliated and beat up their Physics teacher, Mr Muktar Salihu.

Abdulbatin, the alleged leader of the group, is said to be the son of a traditional ruler in the area.

Following the beating, the teacher collapsed and is currently in a coma in an undisclosed hospital.

The District Police Officer in the area has waded into the matter and has ordered the traditional ruler to produce his son, Vanguard reports.
