President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mrs. Arinola Ogbara-Banjoko as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Nigeria Commodity Exchange (NCX), representing Lagos State under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
The appointment is seen as part of ongoing efforts by the federal government to strengthen institutions driving economic growth, trade development, and investment opportunities across Nigeria. The Nigeria Commodity Exchange plays a strategic role in facilitating commodity trading, improving market access for farmers and investors, and supporting the country’s non-oil export sector.
Mrs. Ogbara-Banjoko is expected to bring her experience and expertise to the board as the NCX continues initiatives aimed at improving transparency, market efficiency, and investor confidence within Nigeria’s commodities market.
