As a proud Abian and member of the Labour Party, I am thrilled to see the congregation of gladiators of Old Abia(PDP) imploding before our very eyes. Their recent antics is a testament to their desperation and lack of direction.

Their press release condemning a video circulating on social media that seemed to promote election violence in one state recently is a joke. We all know that’s just a PR stunt to save face. After all, it’s not like they have a track record of promoting peace and harmony.
And then there’s their apology for “failed expectations”. How pathetic. It’s like they’re acknowledging that they’re a sinking ship, but instead of trying to plug the holes, they’re just apologizing for not being able to keep up the charade. Their data boys are confused , seems their umbrella can no longer cover them, are they in a state of quagmire? Hehehe!
Their primaries in Abia were a complete disaster, with aspirants withdrawing left and right due to irregularities. I mean, who needs a fair and transparent process when you can just rig the game and hope no one notices?
And let’s not forget about Hon. Rowland Ceaser, who had the audacity to support Governor Alex Otti’s “good works”. The PDP’s reaction was predictable – they suspended him, because heaven forbid someone actually tries to promote unity and progress.
As true abian, I am proud to be part of a government that is committed to transparency, accountability, and progress. Governor Alex Chioma Otti is the deserved driver of Abia State, and the PDP is just a relic of the past.

So, keep on keeping on, Abia PDP. Keep apologizing for your failures, keep condemning your own members, and keep on pretending like everything is okay. We in the Labour Party will just be over here, watching the train wreck, and enjoying the popcorn.
