The Abia State Government has announced the Abia Creatives Talent Hunt Initiative, a groundbreaking program aimed at discovering and supporting young, hands-on creatives across the state. Registration ends today, September 18, 2025, and eligible applicants are urged to apply immediately.

Targeted at Nigerian youths aged 18–35, this initiative seeks individuals who transform ordinary materials into extraordinary, tangible creations. It focuses on creators who work with their hands to develop innovative, culturally relevant, or environmentally conscious products.
Who Can Apply
The Talent Hunt is open to creatives across Abia State’s 17 Local Government Areas who specialize in:
Arts and crafts
Waste transformation and upcycling
Cultural artifacts and heritage crafts
Tourism-inspired products
Digital creations with physical outcomes
Innovative inventions using local materials
Important Note: This program is not for performing artists such as musicians, dancers, or actors. It strictly emphasizes tangible and hands-on creative work.
