Festus Keyamo meets Chinese Ambassador and COMAC to boost Nigeria–China aviation partnership and explore aircraft investment opportunities.
Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has received the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria alongside top executives of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening Nigeria–China relations in the aviation sector, exploring investment opportunities, and discussing the potential deployment of Chinese-manufactured aircraft in the Nigerian market.

Keyamo expressed the Federal Government’s commitment to modernizing Nigeria’s aviation infrastructure and expanding partnerships with global industry leaders. COMAC representatives highlighted their interest in collaborating with Nigeria on aircraft supply, maintenance, and technical training to enhance safety and capacity across the country’s air transport network.
The meeting marks another step toward deepening bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and China, especially in the aviation and aerospace industries.
