Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic has recorded major achievements in both student performance and staff welfare.
A total of 164 students who took part in the Modular Practical Exams Phase 1 had a 100% pass rate, meaning all passed the exam. In the Modular 2 exams, 157 out of 158 students passed, giving the school a 99% success rate.
To improve services, the polytechnic has also launched an online clearance platform, making it easier for students to complete their clearance process without stress.
The school has updated its curriculum to include new and modern courses such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), helping students gain skills for today’s job market.
In terms of staff welfare, the school held its first promotion exercise since 2008, allowing staff members to be promoted and receive their full financial benefits.
In addition, the school has paid salary arrears to staff who were previously sacked or resigned, ensuring fair treatment for all.
