A devastating incident occurred in the commercial city of Aba, Abia State, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m. A billboard advertisement board, standing at the Aba-Owerri Road, opposite Salad Market, collapsed due to the heavy downpour that hit the area.
The fallen billboard crushed over 10 Keke Napep (tricycle) machines, with many feared dead and others trapped under the debris. The incident has also resulted in damage to properties and vehicles.
