CDCFIB Recruitment 2025: Board Issues Update and Warning for All Applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the opening of internal and external vacancies for qualified personnel seeking mid-management roles within the Federal Fire Service (FFS). The recruitment drive aims to fill several key CONPASS-level positions as the agency strengthens its operational structure nationwide.

Available Positions

According to the announcement from the Office of the Secretary, CDCFIB is inviting applications for the following mid-level roles:

Deputy Controller of Fire (DCF) – CONPASS 14

Assistant Controller of Fire – CONPASS 13

Chief Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 12

Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 11

Deputy Superintendent of Fire – CONPASS 10

Applicants are permitted to apply for only one position. Submitting multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.

Method of Application

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications along with all required documents via the Board’s designated email address:

info@cdcfib.gov.ng


Applications must be submitted within one week of the publication date.

Statutory Requirements

To qualify for the advertised positions, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

  1. Employment Status: Must be a current employee of a Federal, State, or Local Government MDA.
  2. Minimum Height Requirement:

1.65m for men

1.60m for women

3. Physical and Mental Fitness: Applicants must be certified fit for service.

Application Channel: All submissions must be addressed to the Secretary to the Board via info@cdcfib.gov.ng.

Identification: Must present a Letter of Identification from the applicant’s Local Government of origin.

Appointment Confirmation: Evidence of confirmation of appointment is required.

Performance Evaluation: Submission of three (3) years of APER/PMS reports.

Record of Service: Certified True Copy (CTC) must be provided.

Criminal Record: Applicants must have no criminal convictions.

Previous Employment Letters: Copies of letters of previous appointments must be included.

Medical Fitness Certificate: Must be issued by a government-recognized hospital.

Financial Status: Applicants must be free from financial embarrassment.

Eligibility Restrictions: Personnel from other paramilitary services are not eligible to apply.

Submission Deadline

All application documents must be submitted in PDF format to the official email on or before 15th December 2025.

The Board emphasized that the entire application process is free of charge, warning applicants to disregard any third parties demanding payment.
