CDCFIB alerts applicants on fake portals, announces CBT for shortlisted candidates. Visit recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng for updates.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a new public notice concerning its ongoing national recruitment exercise, thanking applicants for their patience and cooperation.

According to the announcement signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) AM Jibril, Secretary to the Board, a Computer-Based Test (CBT) has been scheduled to hold soon for shortlisted candidates across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Applicants who previously applied for positions in any of the four agencies under the CDCFIB the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Immigration Service are required to visit the official recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng starting next week.

Candidates can log in to the portal to check their shortlisting status, confirm their CBT schedule, and print their examination slips showing the test centre and time.

CDCFIB Announces Upcoming CBT for Shortlisted Applicants

The CDCFIB strongly cautioned applicants to ignore unofficial messages, emails, or social media claims about recruitment updates, stressing that no notifications will be sent via SMS or email. All verified information will be communicated only through the official CDCFIB website.

Applicants are urged to be vigilant, follow the instructions provided, and avoid falling victim to scammers impersonating Board officials or creating fake recruitment portals.

The statement concluded with a reminder that only information published on cdcfib.gov.ng and its verified social media pages should be trusted.
