The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a delay in the opening of its recruitment portal for shortlisted applicants. The decision affects candidates scheduled to take part in physical screening and document verification as part of the ongoing recruitment exercise.
The portal, which had been slated to launch on 1 December 2025, will now open at a later date. According to the Board, the adjustment is necessary, and a new date will be communicated shortly. Applicants have been encouraged to monitor the official recruitment portal at “recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng” for updates and further directives.

In the official statement, CDCFIB expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the delay. The Board also appreciated the continued interest shown by applicants and assured them that new information would be disseminated promptly.
Candidates are further advised to rely solely on the official portal and CDCFIB’s verified social media channels for accurate announcements regarding the recruitment procedure and timelines.
