The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a fresh warning to all applicants participating in its ongoing recruitment exercise, reaffirming that the entire process is transparent, merit-based, and completely free of charge.
In a statement signed by Okeh Juliet, Head of Press and Public Relations, the Board emphasized that no candidate should pay any money or share banking details at any stage of the recruitment.

“Applicants are strongly advised to rely only on official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic updates and avoid falling victim to fraudsters making false claims,” the statement read.

The CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to fairness, integrity, and accountability, assuring Nigerians that it remains steadfast in attracting the most qualified candidates for the nation’s paramilitary services while protecting applicants from scams and deceitful activities.
Candidates have also been urged to stay vigilant, report any suspicious demands for payment, and cooperate with security agencies to curb fraudulent recruitment schemes.
The Board restated that updates on the next stages of the exercise will be announced soon through verified platforms.
