Federal College of Education Ofeme-Ohuhu Opens NCE Admission for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Federal College of Education Ofeme-Ohuhu in Umuahia, Abia State, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of its NCE admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution is inviting suitably qualified candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching to apply for admission into its various programmes.


According to the college management, prospective students can now obtain their admission forms and begin the application process. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the Admission Unit within the college premises for inquiries, guidance, and purchase of the application forms.


The institution, known for its commitment to excellence in teacher education, offers a wide range of programmes designed to equip students with professional teaching skills and academic knowledge required for today’s educational environment. Over the years, the college has continued to produce competent educators who contribute significantly to the development of the education sector in Nigeria.


For the 2025/2026 session, the college is offering several courses across different disciplines. These include Social Studies (Double Major), Social Studies/Igbo, Social Studies/Economics, Social Studies/Political Science, English (Double Major), English/Igbo, English/Economics, English/Political Science, and English/Social Studies.


Other available programmes include Integrated Science/Computer Education, Integrated Science/Chemistry, Integrated Science/Physics, Integrated Science/Mathematics, Integrated Science/Biology, Computer Education/Chemistry, Computer Education/Physics, Computer Education/Mathematics, and Computer Education/Biology.
Candidates can also apply for Mathematics/Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, Mathematics/Biology, Mathematics/Economics, Primary Education Studies, Christian Religious Studies, Geography, Home Economics, Early Childhood Education, Business Education, and Agricultural Science.


The management emphasized that the programmes are carefully designed to deliver quality teacher training through modern facilities, qualified lecturers, and a conducive learning environment.
Eligibility requirements include possessing at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible to apply. However, individuals who did not sit for the most recent JAMB examination may also be considered.


The college management encouraged all interested candidates to take advantage of this opportunity to secure admission into one of the leading teacher training institutions in Abia State.
