Governor Sim Fubara joins the APC, pledging full support for President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election and receiving membership form number 001 in Rivers State.
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking a major political shift in the state’s evolving landscape. Speaking shortly after receiving his membership card, Governor Fubara expressed excitement about his new political direction, emphasizing that he received the APC membership form with serial number 001, a symbolic gesture that underscores the party’s recognition of his influence and leadership.
Governor Fubara stated that his decision to join the ruling party was driven by loyalty and a desire to support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to him, aligning with the APC is his way of “returning the favour” and ensuring that President Tinubu enjoys a seamless and successful re-election campaign in Rivers State.
