UBEC/ASUBEB Completes 2023 Intervention Project at Amuzukwu Secondary School
The Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), has successfully completed a major education infrastructure project at Amuzukwu Secondary School in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.
The project, executed under the 2023 UBEC/ASUBEB Intervention Programme, involved the renovation, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of a storey school hall alongside six classrooms within the secondary school. The upgrade is aimed at improving the learning environment, enhancing safety standards, and providing modern educational facilities for both students and teachers.
The intervention was commissioned by the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), headquartered in Umuahia, as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening basic and secondary education across the state. Robinagra Resources Ltd served as the contractor responsible for the execution of the project, delivering the work in line with approved specifications and quality standards.
Supervision of the project was carried out by the Physical Planning Department of ASUBEB, Umuahia, ensuring strict compliance with construction guidelines and timely completion. Their oversight guaranteed that the rehabilitated structures meet the functional and structural needs of the school community.








The project was attracted through the efforts of Hon. Obi Aguocha, the Honourable Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency. His intervention reflects a continued dedication to improving educational infrastructure and supporting human capital development within the constituency.
