Hon. Obi Aguocha Releases Comprehensive List of Educational Support Beneficiaries Across 32 Wards in Ikwuano/Umuahia

In a strong reaffirmation of his commitment to human capital development, Hon. Obi Aguocha, Member Representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has officially released the list of beneficiaries for the second batch of his Educational Support Program for the 2024–2025 academic session.

The initiative, which is designed to provide financial support to outstanding and deserving students across primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, cuts across all 32 wards of the federal constituency, covering Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South LGAs.

According to a statement from Hon. Aguocha’s office, the distribution of support materials and bursary awards will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Ochendo Hall, Umuahia North LGA Headquarters, starting at 9:00 AM prompt.

This second batch features a comprehensive and diverse selection of recipients, from Tertiary and Secondary to Primary school pupils, selected based on merit and community nomination.

Speaking on the program, Hon. Obi Aguocha emphasized that the initiative is part of his larger vision to foster educational equity, reduce the financial burden on families, and empower young minds who are the future of the constituency. “Education remains the most powerful weapon we can use to change our society. Through this support scheme, we are investing not just in students but in the future of Ikwuano/Umuahia,” Aguocha noted.

The full list published, contains the names, levels of study, and contact phone numbers of each beneficiary to promote transparency and ensure smooth coordination ahead of the disbursement event.
