Honoring the Boy Child: A Step Towards a Brighter Future, Abia State Gov’t. celebrates
Today, June 17th, 2025, it was massive celebration of our boy-child, a gathering of our male children across primary and secondary schools.

I had the distinct pleasure of attending the International Day of the Boy Child celebration, thoughtfully organized by Her Excellency, Lady Mrs. Priscilla Otti, wife of our esteemed Governor, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs, led by Hon. Dr. Maureen Ijeoma Aghukwa, the Honorable Commissioner for women affairs.
This momentous occasion brought together boy children from primary and secondary schools, celebrating their potential and encouraging them to cultivate good character and prioritize their education.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Her Excellency and the Honorable Commissioner for providing a platform to honor and inspire our young boys. It was a truly enriching experience, and I feel privileged to have been a part of it.

Thank you, Dr Maureen Ijeoma for your friendship and motherly role, very exceptional leader and I’m most respectfully humbled to work with you and looking forward to continuous collaboration.
