The Imo State Police Command has apprehended Inspector Augustine Odidika and three other suspects following the murder of lawyer Chinedu Nwowu in Mgbidi Town on January 29, 2025.

Prior to his death, Nwowu had filed a petition to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, alleging that Inspector Odidika had threatened his life. This petition remained unaddressed before the tragic incident.
