Jackrose Foundation will host its inauguration ceremony on December 30, 2025, at Williams Memorial Mini Stadium, Afugiri, Umuahia, Abia State.

Umuahia, Abia State

The Board and Management of the Jackrose Foundation are poised to make a significant impact on community development with a massive philanthropic drive set to headline their upcoming Inauguration Ceremony. The event, which marks the formal launch of the foundation’s humanitarian activities, will focus on education empowerment within the Ohuhu clan of Umuahia North Local Government Area.

In a laudable gesture aimed at tackling indigence and promoting literacy, the Jackrose Foundation has announced that it will distribute Education Support Packages to twenty-nine (29) carefully selected indigent individuals. Critically, this initiative ensures broad community coverage, as one deserving person will be selected from each of the 29 autonomous communities that make up Ohuhu land. This targeted, grassroots approach underscores the foundation’s commitment to equitable development and ensuring that the benefits of education reach those most in need.

The provision of these support packages is expected to alleviate financial barriers, giving beneficiaries the crucial opportunity to pursue their academic dreams and ultimately contribute positively to their families and the broader community. The foundation recognizes that investing in education is the most sustainable pathway out of poverty and a vital step towards socio-economic advancement in Abia State.
