The Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Leader Abia State Chapter, Mazi Ifeanyi Ihunweze has called on Governor Alex Otti to provide further support for Igbo youths.
The call was made after the enlarged executive meeting of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo’s visit at the Governor’s residence on Tuesday, 15th of July 2025.
His excellency, we appreciate your attention for the great need to energize the preservation of Igbo Language, History and Culture amongst the youths of Abia, starting from the Primary & Secondary schools.
We Call on State Government through the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Local government affairs to assist arrest Fake Ohanaeze Youth groups in Abia visiting some Government offices & political circles in the Abia which doesn’t speak good of us as Ndi Igbo.
The Youth Leader condemned the extortions by some security agencies on Abia roads and seeking your support for a total condemnation of extortion at check points in Abia state.
It is no longer news that our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been detained for years without release and around the circumstances, we are pleading for your support through Political Solutions to aid the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and to end Sit-at-home in the state and south east at large.
He reiterated the need to unite the youths of this generation, believing in the Governor’s capacity through ensuring youth empowerment, youth employment and oneness to fight against criminalities and social vices in Abia state.
Conclusively, Mazi Ifeanyi Ihunweze, the youth President OHANAEZE NDI IGBO Abia State is also seeking for support from good-spirited igbos in Abia for the Youth Directorate Inspection Utility Vehicle to assist in piloting their affairs. We believe in the Ottibility administration and will always be here to support and make sure Abia gets to the promise land.
