Umuahia South Labour Party leaders pass vote of confidence on Obi Aguocha, praising his representation and commitment to constituency development.
The leadership of the Labour Party in Umuahia South Local Government Area has passed a strong vote of confidence on Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha, the lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
The delegation, led by Mr. Okpoto Jonathan Chukwudi, popularly known as the Chairman of Chairmen and current LGA Chairman of the party, paid a courtesy visit to the federal lawmaker to express solidarity and review ongoing political developments within the constituency. The visit also included the ten Ward Chairmen in Umuahia South, underscoring the unified front presented by the party’s grassroots leadership.
Also present at the meeting were key stakeholders, including Hon. Emeka Obioma Tommy, Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and representative of Umuahia South State Constituency, as well as former Mayor Ejikeme Obike. Their presence highlighted the strategic importance of the gathering and the alignment between party leaders at both state and federal levels.
During the engagement, the party executives commended Obi Aguocha for what they described as effective and people-focused representation at the National Assembly.
