Today, I received Miss Confidence Amarachi Chijioke (100L Community health)and Miss Rachael Kehinde Adigun, (300L Public health)students of Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology, Aba,(ABSCOHMAT) who were brutally assaulted by their landlady and daughter over a dispute about disconnected power lines. I warmly appreciate Comrade, Victoria Ofoegbu (NANS-Zone F)and Comrade, Dimgba Simeon for bringing this matter to my attention, despite the landlady’s claims of police connections.
The Nigeria Police Force, Abia State Command, acted swiftly, arresting and arraigning the perpetrators. Following my intervention on September 6, 2025, I’m proud of the Commissioner’s assurances for a peaceful and violence-free community.

Special thanks to Dr. Chisom Hillary Nwogwugwu Dean Students’ Affairs ABSCOHMAT, DSP Maureen Chinaka(PPRO) and Commissioner of Police CP Danladi Isa for their prompt response, demonstrating Abia State Government’s zero-tolerance policy for recklessness.
