The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) Students’ Union Government (SUG) Vice President, Comrade Hadassah Faith Oka, has commended the Abia State government’s initiative to digitize student databases and launch the Unified Tertiary Identity card (UNITIC). In her words when she visited Hon. Chinedu Nwosu Special Assistant to the governor of Abia State on Students Affair in his office in Abia State Government house Umuahia, This move is expected to enhance the state’s education sector and promote digital literacy among students”.




Comrade Oka praised the initiative as innovative, highlighting its potential to achieve significant milestones in student welfare and academic excellence. She also emphasized the importance of compulsory skill acquisition programs for Abia students more effectively final-year students, prays government funding and supervision.
