Nigeria Customs Service shortlists 286,697 candidates for CBT stage of its 2025 recruitment exercise from September 14–21.
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially announced that 286,697 applicants have successfully advanced to the second phase of its ongoing recruitment exercise.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by NCS spokesperson Abdullahi Maigandi, the next stage of the recruitment process will take place from September 14 to September 21, 2025. This stage will be conducted entirely online via a Computer-Based Test (CBT), ensuring transparency, fairness, and accessibility for all shortlisted candidates.
The Service advised candidates to carefully note the schedule and prepare accordingly. It also revealed that applicants for the Superintendent Cadre (Level 8) will undergo an additional CBT in the subsequent phase of the recruitment exercise. However, this additional testing does not apply to candidates in the Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres.
The NCS emphasized its commitment to maintaining a merit-based and technology-driven recruitment process to improve efficiency and uphold credibility.
