The Nigeria Police says it has not received the court order stopping enforcement of tinted-glass permits, pending official communication.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has clarified that it is yet to be officially served with the recent Federal High Court order suspending the enforcement of tinted-glass permits for vehicle owners.

The clarification was made by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement released on Saturday morning. Hundeyin noted that while reports of the court ruling have circulated widely, the police have not received any formal communication or directive regarding the judgment.

He assured that once the Force is properly served, the matter will be reviewed by the legal department for necessary compliance and implementation.
Recall that the Federal High Court sitting in Warri, Delta State, recently ordered the police to halt the enforcement of tinted-glass permits, pending the determination of a suit challenging the legality of the policy.
The public has since awaited the police’s official response, as the development continues to generate widespread reactions among motorists across the country.
