The Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Umaru Mohammed Bago, has approved the immediate dissolution of the state executive cabinet. The decision affects all commissioners and senior political appointees serving in the administration.
In line with this directive, the Governor has confirmed that only the Chief of Staff, the Deputy Chief of Staff, the Secretary to the State Government, and principal officers in the Government House will remain in office to ensure continuity.
Governor Bago expressed his sincere appreciation to the outgoing cabinet members for their dedication and service to the people of Niger State. He emphasized that the dissolution is part of ongoing administrative reforms designed to strengthen governance, improve efficiency, and reposition the state for accelerated growth and development.
