Today, the 29th of May, 2025 is remarkable as it marked exactly two years of the leadership of Dr Alex Chioma Otti in Abia state.
His tenure has been marked with a groundbreaking initiatives and projects. He has not only silenced opposition voices, but also set Abia State on a path of unprecedented growth and development.

Within these two years, a wide range of innovative policies and programs — all aimed at boosting the state’s economy, significantly improving infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life for Ndi Abia has been implemented. The government has been worked tirelessly to ensure that Abia State becomes a hub for economic growth and transformation.
Compared to past administrations — filled with mediocrity, looting, nepotism, favoritism, and cronyism — it is no wonder that a level 8 worker could become a director or permanent secretary and lead their seniors. God forbid! Decayed infrastructure, a hub of filth, non-payment of salaries and pensions, and a shattered educational system characterized the past.

A system that had two teachers per school, yet the few teachers were owed several months of salary arrears. A government that gave out teaching and local government employment letters with the right hand and took them back with the left. A government that kept Abians in a cycle of poverty and celebrated failure.

One could wonder: where is the two-year-old administration getting all the money used for this rapid development? What magic has Governor Otti performed?
Let me ask: what can a mediocre offer? What can someone promoted prematurely, without experience, truly deliver? When you have the brain and surround yourself with people without brains, failure is inevitable. Governor Otti armed himself with intellect and assembled great minds to assist him. This has changed the narrative.

The remarkable magnitude of his accomplishments has effectively muted the microphones of all opposition voices.
The Governors great achievements this two years in offering the people of Abia state a transparent, accountable, and good governance has earned him accolades of praises that cuts across Abia state, Nigeria and beyond.

As Governor Otti continues commit to building on the progress made so far, focusing on sustainable development and inclusive growth, I am sure that his administration is working to ensure that Abia State becomes a model for good governance and economic prosperity in Nigeria.

Ndi Abia, let us continue to rejoice at the liberation of our dear state.
God bless Governor Alex Otti!
God bless Abia State!
God bless Nigeria!
