OCD UK donates homeland security items to Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide at Amafor Isingwu, reinforcing safety and unity in the Ohuhu community.
The Ohuhu Community Development (OCD) UK has made a significant contribution to the Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide (OWUW) through the presentation of homeland security support items aimed at strengthening safety and unity within the community.
The special event took place today being, September 1, 2025, at Chief Okosisi’s Palace, Amafor Isingwu, with the presentation held at exactly 12 noon.



The gathering was hosted by Dr David Abazie, president of Ohuhu Community Development UK, while the formal handover of the security support items which are two buses for OHUHU VIGILANTE SERVICE (Keeping Ohuhu Safe) and fire arms, was carried out by Paramount Chief Dr. Charles Onwuneme.










In attendance were notable stakeholders and representatives, including the Ohuhu Council of Ndi Eze; HRH EZE (SIR) CHIJIOKE J. CHIKWEKWEM (Uga IV of Okaiuga Afugiri Autonomous Community) HRM EZE ABEL OGBONNA (Opara la Nkaru Awa) HRM EZE (SIR) PASTOR PHILIP AJOMIWE (Ndu I of Oriendu) HRH EZE NGWULI, HRM EZE PASTOR NNAMDI OFOEGBU (Oroko Abia) HRH EZE EMEKA OBUM, HRH EZE ASOMUGHA, HRK EZE IHEANYI NWOKENNA ( Oba the Great of Ekeoba Kingdom), Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide leadership ably led by the President General Chief Okechukwu Uwazie, Ohuhu women’s wing led by Dame Mrs Nneoma Comfort Ayaka and secretary in attendance, Ohuhu Vigilante Service, Ohuhu Youth Wing, and members of the press.

Speaking at the event, leaders of the Ohuhu community emphasized that the donation reflects the enduring commitment of the diaspora to contribute toward peace, security, and development back home. The gesture was described as both timely and impactful, given the importance of grassroots security in fostering community progress.
