Social media users have taken to their official X account to react after the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi announced that he donated the sum of N5 million to support the construction of a mosque.
The former governor of Anambra state made the announcement on his official X account on Thursday.
He said he made the donation after he visited an Almajiri School in Kaduna state. He said he had earlier visited the school where he made a donation of N15 million. Peter Obi stated that he donated N5 million on his return when he considered that they will be adding a mosque to their ongoing projects.

According to Peter Obi on his official page;
“My visit was aimed at assessing the progress made so far and ensuring the effective utilization of resources. In further support of this critical educational initiative, seeing the impact of these efforts and considering the addition of a mosque to the project, I made an additional donation of N5 million, bringing my total contribution to N20 million”.
