Rivers State Administrator Ibas says Tinubu’s intervention ended divisions and restored stability to the state.
Rivers State Administrator, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has revealed that the state was gripped by deep political divisions, instability, and eroded public trust before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu intervened.
Speaking on his appointment to oversee Rivers State for six months, Ibas noted that Tinubu’s decisive action helped restore calm and reposition the state on the path to peace and governance. According to him, the administration inherited a tense environment but is now focused on rebuilding institutions, fostering reconciliation, and ensuring good governance.
