Rivers State Administrator Ibok-Ete Ibas says Tinubu’s grassroots democracy mandate has been fulfilled with restored local governance.
The Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has announced that the mandate given to him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has been “sufficiently achieved.”
Speaking on the progress made since his appointment, Ibas stated that his administration has successfully restored democratic governance at the grassroots level, fulfilling one of the core objectives set by the Presidency.

According to the retired Vice Admiral, the interventions carried out under his leadership were designed to stabilize local government structures, strengthen participatory governance, and empower communities across Rivers State.
