The Oyo State Police Command has apprehended an Islamic cleric, identified as Alfa Bashiru, after he was allegedly found with substances believed to be human flesh.
According to a statement released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Adewale Osifeso, the arrest was carried out following credible intelligence. Authorities say investigations are ongoing to determine the origin and nature of the suspected human parts.
The police have assured the public that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and that anyone found culpable will face the full weight of the law. Residents are urged to remain calm and report any suspicious activities to security agencies.
