Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President has issued a challenge to the nation’s youth, urging them to take deliberate steps if they truly desire to occupy positions of leadership.
Speaking on the subject, he emphasized that leadership is not handed out casually; it must be earned through preparation, discipline, and active participation in the democratic process. He noted that Nigerian youths, who make up the majority of the population, hold immense potential to transform the country’s future but must back their passion with strategy and consistency.
The Deputy Senate President called on young people to engage more in governance, community development, and political participation. He further stressed the need for youths to build networks, acquire knowledge, and demonstrate integrity to gain the trust of the people they aspire to lead.
