President Tinubu appoints Governor Uba Sani as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General to lead APC mobilisation ahead of 2027 elections.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General for party outreach, engagement and mobilisation, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots coordination ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement, contained in a State House press statement dated February 17, 2026, confirms that the appointment takes immediate effect. As leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Tinubu selected Governor Sani in recognition of his leadership capacity and organisational experience within the party structure.
Under the new role, Governor Sani will work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the national leadership of the APC to deepen unity and inclusiveness across party ranks. His responsibilities will include strategic coordination of outreach programmes, mobilisation efforts and engagement platforms designed to consolidate support nationwide.
President Tinubu emphasised that the Renewed Hope Ambassador framework is expected to promote and communicate the administration’s programmes, policies, milestones and achievements to Nigerians at all levels. The objective, according to the President, is to build public confidence and reinforce the Renewed Hope message across the country.
