The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has dismissed reports alleging that the Nigerian President is scheduled to visit the United States on Tuesday for a meeting with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
Ajayi described the report as false and misleading, urging the public to disregard it. He emphasized that President Tinubu has no such engagement in his current itinerary, adding that Nigerians should rely only on verified information from official communication channels.
The presidential aide reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to transparency, stating that any foreign trip by the President will be duly announced through credible platforms.
