Kano State has been thrown into deep mourning following the sudden deaths of two serving members of the Kano State House of Assembly, who reportedly passed away within minutes of each other on Wednesday.
The deceased legislators are Hon. Aminu Sa’adu, also known as Hon. Aminu Saad Ungogo, who represented the Ungoggo/Ungogo Constituency, and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, the lawmaker for the Kano Municipal Constituency.
Reports indicate that Hon. Aminu Sa’adu died first, and shortly afterward, news broke of the passing of Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji. The close timing of the two deaths has shocked colleagues, constituents, and residents across the state.
