The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, moving qualified candidates to the physical screening and document verification stage.
In a press statement issued by the Board’s Secretary, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 have been advised to check their recruitment status through the official CDCFIB recruitment portal.
According to the Board, candidates can access the portal from Monday, June 15, 2026, to Friday, June 20, 2026, to confirm whether they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to log in using the application number generated during their initial registration. Successful candidates will then be expected to upload relevant credentials and select their preferred screening date and venue for physical verification.
The CDCFIB emphasized that applicants must carefully follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal to avoid errors that could affect their screening process.
The Board also reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains completely free of charge. It warned applicants against making payments to individuals, agents, groups, or organizations claiming they can facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centers, or final selection.
Furthermore, the public has been urged to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorized persons posing as representatives of the Board. CDCFIB stated that all official information regarding the recruitment process will only be communicated through its approved channels and official recruitment portal.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and fairness, the Board noted that the recruitment exercise is being conducted in line with established guidelines to ensure a credible, merit-based, and transparent selection process.
