Governor Alex Otti has expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of the Labour Party after receiving a free nomination form from the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) during a presentation ceremony held at the Abia State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.
The nomination form was officially presented by the party’s National Chairman, Nenadi Usman, in what many party supporters have described as a strong vote of confidence in Governor Otti’s leadership and commitment to the Labour Party.
Speaking after the presentation, Governor Otti thanked the party leadership for the honour and recognition, assuring members that he would continue to remain loyal and dedicated to the progress of the Labour Party.
He specifically acknowledged the contributions of the National Chairman, Senator Nenadi Usman, the National Secretary, Obioma Iheanacho, and other members of the NWC for their unwavering support and commitment to strengthening the party.
Governor Otti also praised Senator Usman for her efforts in stabilising the Labour Party and helping to resolve the prolonged internal disputes that previously affected the party. According to him, the party is now united and prepared to move forward ahead of future general elections without legal distractions.
The Abia State governor further stated that there are currently no subsisting legal issues affecting the Labour Party, noting that the resolution of internal conflicts has created a clearer path for the party’s growth and political advancement nationwide.
Addressing the people of Abia State, Governor Otti dedicated the recognition to residents and supporters who have continued to stand by his administration. He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality governance, transparency, and people-oriented leadership across the state.
